Uncover Short Links

Reveal the true destination of shortened links (bit.ly, t.co) before you click, protecting you from malicious sites.

SEO Audit

Identify redirect chains (301 vs 302) that dilute link equity and slow down your website's crawl budget.

Debug Loops

Detect infinite redirect loops that cause "Too Many Redirects" errors for users and bots.

Why Trace Redirects?

Understanding where your links go is crucial for SEO, security, and user experience. Redirect chains can slow down your site, dilute "link juice" (PageRank), and confuse search engine crawlers.

Common Redirect Status Codes

  • 301 Moved Permanently: The "good" redirect for SEO. Tells Google the page has moved forever. Link equity is passed.
  • 302 Found (Temporary): Use this only for temporary moves. Link equity is NOT passed as efficiently.
  • 307 Temporary Redirect: A modern version of 302, ensuring the method (POST/GET) doesn't change.
  • Meta Refresh: A client-side redirect (in HTML). Generally bad for SEO and slow for users.

Use this tool to audit your affiliate links, check short URLs (bit.ly, tinyurl), and debug "Too Many Redirects" errors.
